My name is Nami and I am from Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. 

For as long as I can remember, the ocean has always felt like home. If I’m not in the water, you’ll usually find me wandering somewhere close to the shoreline. 

For over a decade, I’ve guided people on whale and dolphin encounters across the Pacific islands, New Zealand and Australia. 

I’ve seen the quiet magic that unfolds when someone locks eyes with a whale or drifts alongside a pod of dolphins.

Theres something incredibly special about witnessing that first moment of wonder. Seeing my guests light up in the presence of these gorgeous marine mammals is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

My Polynesian ancestry holds a deep bond with the ocean. Whales and dolphins are woven into the stories of my lineage as guardians, messengers and our ancestors.

They have been some of my greatest teachers and have showed me what it means to live with presence, strength, beauty, harmony, grace and joy. Being with them feels like a soulful homecoming.

TTSE is my way of sharing this love. Each trip is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature and to meet these incredible animals in their natural, wild and beautiful blue home.
